Amanda Byram is one of Ireland's biggest exports, she started her career as a model at the tender age of 16 and from there went on to take the TV world by storm. in 1999 she began presenting TV3 morning show "IrelandAM" with Mark Cagney. She then moved to Brittish TV, primarily hosting "The Big Breakfast" on Ch4 in 2001 and then appearing as a guest host on" Liquid News" on BBC3 in 2002. She also hosted the UK edition of "Entertainment Tonight", which aired on Sky One.
She then went on to break into the American market. In the U.S. she is best known as the host of the reality tv series "Paradise Hotel" and "The Swan". She also hosted the Miss World pageant in 2003 and since 2007 has been co-host along with Dennis Miller, of the Game show Network program "Grand Slam".
She briefly appeared in David Hewlett's 2006 film "A Dog's Breakfast".
