One of Ireland's most successful exports, Brendan was already a household name in Ireland when he moved to the UK in 2001, where his career and profile continues to grow.
Here in Ireland, Brendan has just completed his first year as co-presenter and stylist on the hugely successful "Off the Rails" style and fashion programe for RTE. Brendan has been "wowing" Irish style concious ladies with his flair, natural easy style and keen fashion eye.
Brendan Courtney is a broadcaster and art director both in Ireland and the UK. He studied Art Direction at London's premier fashion college Central Saint Martins. Recently Brendan established a successful styling service "ihatemylook.com" for personal styling and fashion advice, where he has built up a devoted clientele. He has also masterminded the return of iconic fashion brand The Clothes Show and completed 3 years as the presenter and producer of the programme.
Brendan was nominated for the Best TV Presenter Award twice and won most stylish presenter at The Belfast TV Awards. His TV career began in Ireland as a researcher, after which he moved on to create and present Ireland's hit internet chat room dating show "Wanderlust", ITV promptly offered Brendan a presenter's role on ITV2's extra shows for "Ant and Dec's Saturday Takeaway" and "Blind Date". Brendan hosted RTE's 40th Anniversary Celebrations and reality show Treasure Island. He has since presented and produced many TV shows with his production company Giant Film & TV. His self authored documentary ALIAS RICKY GERVAIS was Bravo' highest rating show in 2007.
