Discovered at 16 years old, Laura became one of Ireland's most sought after models overnight, working constanly in Ireland, Paris, Germany, London and Milan for several years.
Once retired from modelling, Laura's vast experience in the fashion and beauty industry led her into a career as a beauty columnist for the Irish Mail on Sunday, formerly Ireland on Sunday, where she continues to impart her knowledge on beauty, skincare, cosmetic procedures, new technologies and holistic therapies every week.
However, Laura soon found herself behind the camera once again, with a weekly slot on Ireland AM. This in turn led to Laura becoming a reporter and occasional presenter on the show; reporting on fashion, beauty, make-over and lifestyles issues from the events such as London and NY Fashion Weeks, H&M launch in L.A. and regular exclusives with designers. Laura's work with Ireland AM also involves all pre-production, presenting, interviewing, post-production and editing.
Laura continues to balance her television commitments alongside journalism and last year she added Health, Living and Wellbeing Magazine to her expanding CV with her monthly "Life with Laura" column; a wry look at life as a woman in her thirties. She also continues to model by special request and has various charity commitments.
